How To Book

    Select the course you wish to book from the dropdown menu at the top under "Courses", then under the "Dates, Locations + Fees" tab you can select which date and location you wish to book by clicking on "Book this course and date" then complete and submit the booking form.

    You can also enquire about our In-house Courses by completing and submiting the form.

    No matter how your booking is made, we will confirm within five working days.

    We will send a confirmation email to the Booker and Delegate with details of the course location and a VAT invoice. Please contact us if you have not received this within five working days.

    Acceptance of a booking constitutes a liability for the relevant course fee and is subject to our standard Booking Conditions as shown below.

    We can accept payment either by cheque, BACS or Credit Card. Our BACS details are printed on our invoices or available on request.

    The course fee includes lunch on full-day courses, light refreshments and course materials.

If you need to cancel

We understand that changes in circumstances mean that it is not always possible for an individual booked on a course to attend. Cancellations are, however, subject to the following conditions:

If you need to cancel your booking your cancellation must be received, in writing, at least 14 days before the course date. A full refund will be made of course fees paid. Cancellations received less than 14 days before the date of the course are unable to receive a refund.

Delegate substitution

Substitute delegates may be nominated at anytime. There is no charge for delegate substitution, providing there is no change of course date.

Payment terms

Course fees are payable with the booking. We may however agree to invoice you, if we do issue an invoice, payment is due upon presentation of the invoice. We reserve the right to refuse attendance on the course if payment is not received before the course date.

Transfer to another course date

Requests to transfer to another course must be received in writing, you should state the date and name of the course to which you wish to transfer. Transfers will only be accepted if the original booking has been paid for; you will need to pay for the original booking before we make the transfer. If your request for transfer is received at least 14 days before the course date there will be no charge for the transfer. If you transfer your booking at this stage, you may subsequently cancel and receive a full refund, providing notice is given in writing at least 14 days before the new course date. If your transfer request is received less than 14 days from the course date there will be an administrative charge of £75 (plus VAT) per delegate being transferred. An additional invoice will be sent for this charge. If you transfer your booking at this stage, you cannot subsequently cancel it.

Important notes

It may be necessary (due to reasons beyond our control) for Benchmark Business Training Ltd to change the content, timing, date or venue of a course. In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled, our liability is limited to a refund of the course fee. If the course takes place and you do not attend (for any reason), the above conditions in relation to 'transfer to another course date' and 'cancellations by you' will apply.

All bookings are subject to the above Booking Conditions.

Course Information

Our courses are designed and presented by specialists and are intended to be participative where appropriate. To ensure this, the number of bookings accepted on each course is restricted. This enables the full benefit of discussion and interaction between delegates and the speaker to be obtained.

The course outlines in this directory are intended as a guide since courses are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in legislation and other developments as appropriate.

Course handout material is provided as an aid to learning and understanding and to avoid copious note-taking. It is only available to those booked on a course and is not sold separately. No part of the handout material may be reproduced without permission.

Everyone attending a course is requested to complete a course appraisal form. These are regularly reviewed to ensure that quality is maintained.

We reserve the right to alter or reschedule published programmes, timings, speakers, fees or venues without prior notice.

Special Needs / Dietary Requirements

Lunch is provided on all of our full-day courses and a vegetarian dish is included on all of our menus. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know when booking a course so that we can inform our caterers.


Many delegates travel on the day of the course but if you wish to arrange overnight accommodation we can supply you with details of hotels in the area.


There is no dress code, most delegates wear what they would normally wear to work, or smart casual.

Certificates of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance are provided on all courses.

Mailing List / Data Protection

Information provided to us at the time of booking is held on our database and is used to communicate information on future courses to you and your organisation. We do not make the information contained in our database available to any other organisation for any purpose.

If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, or would like your details updated, please send a note of your requirements, either by post or email. Amendments are processed as quickly as possible but due to mailshots in circulation, this can take up to six weeks or so to take effect.
